U of O Matthew Knight Arena

Bergelectric was the electrical contractor for the University of Oregon’s new basketball arena. Establishing an intimate house for basketball has been the goal from the beginning of the design, with the phrase “Theater for Basketball” becoming the standard for the project.  The capacity of 12,500 for basketball includes club seating and donor suites, with the university opting for a small number of suites to achieve the revenue goals while preserving the intimacy factor of the seating bowl.
