PME PROGRAM
PME Program
What is it?
The Potential Management Employee (PME) Program is a leadership development program for Bergelectric project engineers and estimators; it is second-to-none in our industry. The program includes classroom training, stretch assignments, on-job previews and job walks, community outreach, leadership development and more–while still ensuring valuable work experience with a nationwide electrical contractor.
Who is it for?
There are several paths that can lead to the PME Program, including recent college graduates, excelling project engineers or estimators, and experienced licensed field employees.

Craft Training Days
Bergelectric’s regional Craft Training Days provide an opportunity for Bergelectric employees to participate in multiple training sessions. Employees also have the opportunity to talk one-on-one with Bergelectric’s upper management and Human Resources personnel.
Berg employees participate in contests throughout the day with prizes awarded from some of our industry’s top vendors.
Craft Training Day training sessions have included: CPR/First Aid, Exothermic Grounding, Total Station Point Layout, Fall Protection, Scissor & Boom Lift, Bluebeam for iPad, and much more.
Our CTD events invest in employee development–offering a chance for our employees to hone their skills, develop new skills, obtain certifications and gain Continuing Education Units (CEUs).
