Bergelectric develops an integrated working relationship with the entire design team and is actively engaged throughout the design/build process. In early partnership with the general contractor, architects, and engineers, we work within a team approach to assist with streamlining the design completion, minimizing duplication of effort, and utilizing the extensive experience of all team members.

Collaboration from the Beginning

Early meetings with the electrical engineer established Bergelectric’s preferred material, means and construction methods, and integration of prefabricated materials. Bergelectric works collaboratively to address possible constructability issues and present timely solutions. Berg’s continuous participation gives them a comprehensive understanding of the complete project and allows them to contribute their experience to the effectiveness of the electrical systems design.

Design Evaluation

As the construction documents evolve, Bergelectric continually reviews all design aspects and provides timely feed-back for areas of concern or innovation. We work to give the design team options for the electrical systems to assist in constructability, project scheduling, and project cost.

Design Review Analysis

The results of each project review are documented on their “Design Review Log” to provide their design team with written feedback and a means to respond to any comments. This document is a dynamic form for the team to track the evolution of electrical design.

Bergelectric works as part of a collaborative team and implements integrated project delivery methods, engaging in active collaboration, problem-solving, and generating innovative, set-based design solutions that add the most value to the project. Our team is highly motivated and has extreme innovation and collaboration skills. As the successful electrical firm, Bergelectric will produce conceptual estimates with different scenarios to achieve a target value; work with the consultants and construction team to design the systems to an agreed-upon target value in full compliance with the permitting agency and Vertex Guidelines; and behave in a team manner to drive the best value for the project needs.
