Palomar Medical Center

The new Palomar Medical Center was dubbed “The Hospital of the Future” for its many cutting edge features. With the IPD approach, Bergelectric, along with all the construction trades on Palomar Medical Center, were fully vested in the agreements, processes and collaborative problem-solving, working together like one big company instead of a bunch of individual trades looking out for themselves. This ‘team’ started well in advance of the design and construction efforts with an integrated team that bought into a shared process at the onset and was unified in its objectives from day one.
